Contains ceftiofur in a crystalline form; the final product is a ready-to-use sterile suspension of CCFA in oil When injected intramuscularly, it is continuously released into the bloodstream and is rapidly metabolized into its active form Only licensed antibiotic for horses that offers a full course of therapy in 2 doses Treatment process is less stressful for the horse and more convenient for the veterinarian, caretaker and horse owner
