Clindamycin Hydrochloride is an antibiotic that belongs to the lincosamide class and is a semisynthetic derivative of lincomycin. It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, preventing the elongation of polypeptide chains.
