Storage Temperature: Room Temperature

SOB Broth is recommended for use in cultivation of recombinant strains of E. Coli. It is a nutritionally rich growth medium for use in the preparation and transformation of competent cells.

Add two capsules to one liter of distilled water. Heat and stir gently to completely dissolve medium. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes.

Final Solution contains: Casein Enzymic Hydrolysate: 20 g/l Yeast Extract: 5 g/l Sodium Chloride: 0.5 g/l Magnesium Sulfate: 2.4 g/l Potassium Chloride: 0.186 g/l
