Sterilization Pouches, Tubing and Covers Packaging is an important step in the sterile processing of reusable medical devices. Sterilization packaging must:
allow sterilization of enclosed devices maintain sterility until opened provide for aseptic delivery Sterilization pouches or peel pouches are designed to contain single items.
Sterility maintenance or dust covers are protective plastic bags used to help maintain the sterility of an item by protecting it from the environment.
Sterilization Pouch/Tubing, Paper Combines a blue film and a medical grade paper to provide breathability, sterile barrier and indication of processing. Includes an external process indicator for Steam and Ethylene Oxide (EO) Gas sterilization. Seal the pouch yourself (e.g. self-seal) or mechanically with a heat sealer (e.g. heat-seal). Available in sized pouches or customizable tubing for long or odd-shaped instruments.
