Description A sterilized sol-to-gel liquid containing clindamycin hydrochloride in a viscous formulation that is intended for topical administration to temporarily act as a barrier against microorganism intrusion on a wound. Through a process of reverse thermal gelation, ClinzGard thickens in the crevice and remains in place for 7–10 days, acting as a barrier against particles. It is then bioresorbed by the body and eliminated through normal metabolic means. Each mL contains clindamycin hydrochloride equivalent to 10 mg clindamycin, in a matrix that undergoes sol-to-gel transition (patent pending). The product is for use in dogs and cats only. • Sterile single-dose packs with no mixing required • Conical tip allows application in hard-to-reach places • Blunt-nose cannula tips for anal sac infusion are also included • Two-year shelf life at controlled room temperature (2-25° C)
