Description Carb-N-Sert is Miltex's Top-Quality Line of Needle Holders Carb-N-Sert jaws are made of tungsten carbide, the hardest steel made for surgical instruments. They are then bonded to needle holders made of the finest quality steel. • Precision milled teeth for non-slip grips • Custom styled jaws with teeth ranging from 2500 per square inch to 4000 per square inch • Jaw edges are chamfered to prevent accidental cutting of suture material • Finger rings are well rounded and polished for better “feel” and prevention of finger fatigue • Each instrument is satin finished to reduce glare • Gold plated finger rings identify these tungsten carbide instruments
