Product Details For Use in Horses. Butorphanol Tartrate injection is indicated for the relief of pain associated with colic in adult horse and yearlings. Features and Benefits:
Analgesic effects are seen within 15 minutes following injection Treatment may be repeated every three to four hours as necessary, not to exceed 48 hours Four times more potent analgesic activity than morphine Cardiopulmonary depressant effects are minimal after treatment in horse
